It's overall a good update. Maps is pretty darn tiny on the small maverick screen in split screen mode. Don't love the time in the bottom right corner, but I'm sure I'll get used to it

Here's the map blown up.The thing that drives me crazy with AA is that maps is so zoomed in and when you back out you get some giant re-center indicator that takes up alot of the map space and refuses to go away- Hope this gets updated.
People have been trying all sorts. Seems like Coolwalk has actually been there for some time but required a switch on Google's side. After the beta it was like a 11mb updateCan you just install the apk? Or do you have to be a beta tester?

word is that it's a server-side mark, you either have it or don't some people have been in beta for years without that update
Downloaded app about an hour ago. Looks great. I'll be on road tomorrow to be testing it out.Got on to Android Autos beta testing and Coolwalk is now popping up. So far it seems very smooth if not smoother than the previous setup/style. I like the multi display and some of the quick options now available. I'm a cable guy so no idea how stable it is wireless.
I'll try to continually provide feedback on it that I can.

FYI: This is on a Lariat Lux so I won't be able to comment on how it'll work/stability on non sync models or with wireless.

It's actually a "didn't hold still while not realizing I had night shot on" shot. LolAction shot
Me too! This is just what I want to see on my husband's Lariat - the multi-display screen. I'm going to point him toward this info. Thanks!
I recognize the locations shown on your screen shots. Any delays in the software starting on connection? I have been using YouTube Music but it has been giving me problems starting up, it is like the stereo is shut off or in a frozen state until I get out of AA and back in. I am done with that hassle and need a good replacement, which this looks to have potential once released. The AA beta has been full so I will just have to wait, which any Maverick owner should be used to by now.Got on to Android Autos beta testing and Coolwalk is now popping up. Correct, but west of the Cleveland area. YouTube Music worked great once started but it was inital start that was an aggravation. AA always starts seamlessly with the Motorola MA1 but was hanging up on YouTube. Thanks for the suggestion.NE ohioian aswell?
I use Spotify, it's always been one of the most optimized streaming services imo. It seems smoother with this new version of AA. Changing songs is pretty much instant. No issues on booting up so far and never really had any issues with the previous version either.
I live on the westside as well, just work at Cleveland clinics Main campus.Correct, but west of the Cleveland area. I didn't pay attention to the locations until @ShadowBlack XL440 brought them up and now I am having a traumatic flashback to this weekend trying to find parking at Severance Hall 10 minutes before show-start. I just moved to Amherst a few months ago from Indiana and am glad I don't have to deal with what you do on the daily over by the clinic!NE ohioian aswell?

At the hours I go in and out from work traffic is pretty much non existent. But when I used to work in Bedford taking 480 with a 9-5 schedule, that was the absolute worst thing ever.I didn't pay attention to the locations until @ShadowBlack XL440 brought them up and now I am having a traumatic flashback to this weekend trying to find parking at Severance Hall 10 minutes before show-start.
