First, if you're not interested in high end car audio this won't apply to you.

Has anyone defeated, disconnected or otherwise disabled the ANC mics in the Maverick? I've been able to hear when my bass hits (Rockford Fosgate 10") much of the sound rolls off slightly, but then returns quickly.

I'm running Infinity Reference series for doors, tweets, C-pillar and center channel off of the stock B&O amp.

I noticed it immediately but it hasn't bothered me. Would just like to solve this for the next owner. I'm suspecting they're wired to the display unit, as my previous XL with non-B&O did the same thing.

And a picture of my truck because I can.

There's no active noise cancellation.
I thought there is clipping detection, but I have no idea how it actually functions.

if not a mic, I presume it must be looking at the speaker output waveform and comparing to the pre-amp.

Yeah, but that's pretty different than noise cancellation. I had ANC in my Fusion and it never seemed to do much, but installing a subwoofer definitely immediately put it in a feedback loop.

The only thing that ANC did for that Fusion is look good in ad copy.

Next up: SYNC4 with the power of AI!

100% agreed, but clipping detection might be what's causing the issue the OP mentioned.

he actually didn't describe it that much, and it could easily be something else.
