Same boat. Nothing from Ford. I check with chat about twice a week. I started looking at Cars.com and got side tracked with the Mach's. I started inquiring about both so now I get contacted at least once a day by the many dealers out there that have me on their list.

My local dealer called me about a Mach this past Monday. I sat on it for a couple hours since they are asking 5k above MSRP but I went ahead and put the deposit on it. I figure I'll buy it, keep it until the Mav comes in and then decide which one I will keep. With the $7500 credit and a $2500 bonus with my work, I figure I'm coming out all right with buying the Mach and then maybe reselling.

I just can't see me NOT wanting to keep the Mav when it comes in. As you can see in my build below, First Edition, Last Built, will most likely be the scenario for me, lol.

So, Ford Mo. Co. why not just extend the 2022 MY by a month or two and be done with the issue of delaying the 2022 orders to the 2023 MY?

I’m a ‘Still Skeptical September Order’, even with a VIN in hand, as the new Build Date is currently 8-1 (from the initial 6-6), sneaking closer and closer to the October ‘stop building ‘22’s and start building ‘23’s’ cutover date.

Perhaps a pre-Labor Day delivery? Be still my heart.

If not then, the next ‘holiday’ is Halloween, and I wouldn’t complain if the windows got soaped, cuz it’d be parked on the pad. (perhaps a regional/age idiom that’s lost in translation).

Back to our regularly scheduled programming…

7/25 build week is holding steady so far. Was pushed back a few times before. 9/13 XLT hybrid with hitch.

Hoping for September delivery. Chapman says deliveries are running about a month.

Probably going to drive this one until the first refresh year.

Dealer called me today and said I've been scheduled for week of 9/26. I never received an email. Called the marketing hotline and they gave me my vin. Ordered 9/13/21, XLT Hybrid with CP360 + Lux.

( I think I have pretty nearly all of the constrained items on one vehicle)
Ordered 09/09/22.... Received the e-mail from Ford telling me to strip the extras off it or wait for a "special discount" on a '23.

I want the vehicle I ordered with the stuff I ordered. Not willing to buy a vehicle without Adaptive Cruise Control, in particular. If Ford can't give me this stuff on a '23 at a price close to what was given when I ordered it, I will probably go shopping elsewhere.
Just for general info, I am a Ford retiree, so I get AXZ pricing. I am assuming there will be an increase in price on '23 for these plans comparable to the MSR.

I have bought around a dozen new Fords, all from the same salesman at the same dealer. I know it's not his fault, but he may lose a couple of commissions when I go shopping.

I heard an unsubstantiated rumor that the "special order was a $7,500 rebate.

XL Hybrid CP360/Hitch/Spray-in Bed Liner:
Ordered: 09/06/2021
Produced: 07/07/2022 (5th reschedule was the charm)
Shipped: 07/08/2022
Arrived at southern California rail yard in Mira Loma CA: 07/13/2022
Delivered to Autonation Ford of Tustin: 08/11/2022 (4th reschedule was the charm)
Purchased and took delivery: 08/12/2022

340-days from order to taking delivery

I am okay with the length of time it took. Yet, I am not pleased with Ford's inability to provide accurate and timely updates. Most of my updates were 2-3 days after a window passed -- or not at all.

I was trying to decide between two configurations. I think, now that I have mine, I will assess whether or not this is enough of a truck for me. Or, if I should order a F150 and sell the Maverick when it arrives.
