All Mav'ed up and no place to go

I picked up our new 2025 Maverick XLT Hybrid AWD in velocity blue from the dealer yesterday. Unfortunately we've had snow and wind and now bitter cold here in Vermont and I just don't want to go outside! All I can do is peer out the window at it and wish it was warmer. Sometimes I miss Florida (but not really). Looking forward to spring, summer and fall cruising around in my new trucklet!

Congrats! Sure, would like to see some pictures of that Velocity Blue. However, this site will give you a few days because of the snow and cold before you are ostracized for no pictures!!

Pictures will come. The blue is really pretty, though. I did go up a pretty steep hill or two on the way home (hard to avoid them here in Vermont) but probably not a real test of the AWD. I need to get it off the plowed and salted paved roads to really tell. It is comfortable and feels sure-footed, though. The first thing I did before driving home was set up Android Auto. The wireless connection is nice and it sounds pretty good, too. After all of the complaining on here about sound quality, I am pleasantly surprised.

And for anyone in the area, the experience with Oliver Ford here was positive. They offered an extended warranty, which I declined with no argument or hard sell. No egregious additional charges and they seem like great folks.

Where's the pictures x 2. Hello and welcome to MTC. Congratulations on your new Maverick. You are biting at the but to drive it. It will come soon enough. My problem is I like driving mine so much I'm putting on more miles than I normally do. Still low mileage but about 30% more than I usually drive. Hope you enjoy your truck as much as I do mine, if not more, it that's even possible.

Same here. I averaged 5600 miles a year on my Camry. I've had the Maverick for 6 months and I have 5,000 mi on it already. So I'm on pace to almost double my average. . But with the extended warranty I'm ok with that. Use it while I can get it fixed for nothing.

I saw that you were from Bennington and was going to ask if you got yours from Oliver Ford.

Thanks, I've actually been around here since I ordered the trucklet in August. Our salesman was Sean Lloyd, but everyone there has been really good. It's fun living in a small town where everyone knows everyone else. We had to call the insurance agent during the closing and he knew Sean's brother. It's a new experience for me since I've moved here! the casual back and forth is both welcoming and warm.
