Best place to fill up a Maverick

We grow the Chimayo del Norte chile pepper in our garden for a couple of years now. This was the one that kicked off the whole New Mexico hatch chile revival.

Nice, I was not aware of the connection. I am just glad it is a thing now. A very yummy thing!

Got Gas today.... At the best place to get gas for a Maverick. Road trip Tucson to Albuquerque and back... Averaged 35mpg, @average of 80-88mph. Mostly Interstate Yes stopped in Hatch NM for freshly roasted green chiles... life is good.

I like meeting my friend at a place called YOLO. In Wisconsin good food, beer, gas.

I have thought of doing the same photo op. But every time I am at Maverick, someone wants to talk about the truck!

The grocery stores here in north Texas have finally gotten on the Hatch chili bandwagon. Roasters in the parking lot and everything. About the only good thing about August in D/FW.

I'm going to go with "inside the fuel door."

But I could be wrong . . .


Do be aware that, at least in Nevada, Maverik does not sell TopTier fuel. Probably not as important for the hybrid, but I'd sure not want to run something like the ecoboost without it.

so i guess the only issue is you have a cactus gray instead of a hot pepper red Maverick (or Maverik)
