Pardon if this was posted already but didn’t see anything. Being in pinball and arcade hobbies, I have lots of different locks to try.
You can add a lock to the cubby in the bed with very little work. You will want a 7/8” cam lock. You’ll need to carefully file the hole to the edges so the cam lock fits. Thankfully you can see the marks.
A 7/8” wrench to tighten the nut to the lock, a T-20 torx to take the old lock apart, and a #2 Philips for the attaching the cam. (note I used a different style lock that used a metric 10mm nut so YMMV) Some locks may require flipping the 90 degree cam so the lock and unlock match what the door shows. I had to do it to mine. You’ll want to use the flat cam and not an offset one.
