Adding 3rd brake light wiring for canopy. Computer thinks there is a trailer attached. Turns off safety features for towing.

So i missed that other informative conversation on another thread. Can I just Turn off the trailer control module in forscan until i tow my tent trailer.

Not sure which tow connector you have. I use this inline harness to run a (ghosted) 3rd brake light (led strip) since my factory 3rd brake light is blocked by my camper. Confirming that my Mav doesn’t go Into tow mode.

its because i spliced off the back of the hitch cuz both the signals were right there. Lesson learned
