For those whom already have gotten your Maverick and/or have gotten the news that it has been built I have a question for you (and congratulations). I just got scheduled for production this past week for the week of August 28th (very happy!). I currently have no issues with when it is actually going to get built, but I did not happen to see any information on MTC with anyone making a poll or tracker or anything of that sort following how accurate Fords Scheduling week was.

So for those of you who have gotten your Maverick built (and may already have it), how accurate was Fords scheduling week? I completely understand that they are just kind of guessing when it will be built as other factors may slow down or speed up that date, but I am just trying to get a feel for if Fords prediction is fairly accurate or if there is a trend one way or the other for being too optimistic or too unrealistic.

So for those of you who read this and have yours, was your Maverick built during the week it was originally scheduled, or was it built earlier...later?

Thanks for the replys/info if you do respond to this!

My own recent experience (built in June, delivered in July) was that the estimated build week was dead on.

I’ve seen other people here report in their signature lines that their build dates were were subject to being delayed a week or two. Sometimes more than once. A few had their build dates moved up by a week or two.

Thats what I assumed as well and seen once or twice with signatures, but figured posting a general message and maybe a lot more will comment in a single thread vs having to read many signature across MTC would be a little easier.

"Accuracy" and Ford have not gone together in anything related to Ford's delivery process.

For this year at least I think for most the build week has been accurate. It was for me as well.

Build week was accurate. I think the factory missed the barcode when it rolled into the parking lot as mine sat "in production" for two weeks and got on the train almost immediately afterwards.

Mine took 10 months from order day Sept 16 2022 to on lot paperwork signed on July 17. Is yours still on the train?

Got my Lariat Hybrid yesterday too! Just over 10 months. Surprised at how...NOT cheap it feels after reading some posts here.
Build date/week was quite accurate. The actual day they posted changed a couple times. But that was like from the 19th to the 23rd, then back to the 21st.
Shipped on the 23rd. But sat there. I had a railcar number and it was moving toward me. Then went back west to California. Then headed back to me. Dealer said it showed still sitting in Hermosillo on Vin View. I saw the rail car park in Westfield Texas. I knew this was the railyard where they unload cars for the Houston area. Texted Dealer....and to his surprise Vin View now showed it at the ramp unloaded! Only took about 3 days to get to the Dealer.

When they say the week of XXX they are doing the approximate slotting because assembly lines don't go exatly as scheduled when estimated out 2 months. When it is day of XXX it is pretty much spot on.

Well, we bought the expensive version. It better not feel cheap!

But I agree. I love the color of the interior and it feels quality. And my wife was weirded out by how quiet and smooth the EB motor is compared to Escape. She said it felt very close to an EV.

I am aware of that, but trying to determine if Fords approximate date is actually pretty accurate or not.

Ford changed my schedule week four times, once back, and three forward.
Originally said 13 March, and finally started 17 April.
Built 26 April and started shipment to Florida 1 May. Picked up Lariat hybrid w/Area 51 color 19 May at Duval Ford in Jacksonville. Worth the wait and loving it.
Good Luck

Congrats, know you’ve been waiting a long time. I have appreciated your insight.

My Maverick XLT hybrid was scheduled for production on 7/24/2023 per the email received from Ford. I just checked and the last update on 7/18/2023.(2 days ago) showed it is in production.
My initial Maverick order was placed for a MY 2022 XLT hybrid in 11/2021. 😉
