22 xlt gas. I’ve been trying to update my software in my sync system and it downloads then starts over after reaching 100%. It refuses to INSTALL
Anyone have this? How did you fix it?

this is what is happening. Downloads, resets then restarts. Over and over and over

Had the same problem. Dealer installed update for me while I was in for an oil change.

Had the same problem. Dealer installed update for me while I was in for an oil change.

Should be able to download the update onto your PC, extract and load onto a USB and update from there.

Ok. Update. I found that I don’t have sync3. Just basic infotainment on a 22xlt. So no updates for me. Thank you to those that tried to help

GUIDE:
That will work for Lariat's with Sync3. No on XL and XLT.

Have the same issues as you alto, it’s maddening. Especially every time I make or receive a call I have to hit speakerphone and then back to CarPlay for it to actually go through CarPlay and not just be blank on the other end

Be careful with the USB update. The Ford instructions call for uploading an xml file on the usb (from the update process). I did and it screwed up my update page and disabled my WiFi on the Ford.com dashboard. A couple of calls to Ford were fruitless. The Ford reps said the upload instructions were wrong and they were changing the instructions. Here's the message I get (two weeks now) on the Sync update page even though my Sync software is up to date.

"IT APPEARS THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE UPLOADED LOG FILE. OUR TEAM WILL REVIEW SHORTLY AND UPDATE YOUR ACCOUNT TO REFLECT THE CURRENT VERSION OF SYNC IN YOUR VEHICLE. WE RECOMMEND USING WI-FI UPDATES WHERE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR VEHICLE."

This has been happening to me, which prompted me to try and update the firmware to fix it, which led me to problems with updating. I am running 1.9 with the same audio issue. What version are you running? Hoping I can figure out how to get updated and that 2.2 fixes it.
