Exactly, 1925. Good guess!Nice background also. 1925 build?
I bet that was an interesting call - "what do you mean it arrived today? I'm looking at the VIN in IA still, what's going on!"Yes, it seems pretty clear that something happened to the original order, and that the dealer traded for a similar truck at another dealership. (Or the originally ordered truck with a different VIN number than the one provided was finally delivered to the dealer??)
But at least it seems like the OP has a Maverick and is happy now!
What a shame, eh? Wonder why she won't engage in the conversation?Based on VIN# provided by OP she had a case of mistaken identity as the vehicle was built well after she claimed the saga began.
Won't provide an updated VIN# or follow up info.
KInda like OldSarge - they have these phenomenal stories and then never follow back. Same with the guy whose brake module imploded....What a shame, eh? Wonder why she won't engage in the conversation?

Wil probably never know the whole story of the delay, but I am just so thankful that it is home!!!I like a story with a happy ending. So did they have to retrieve that truck from IA or was it a case of mistaken identity? Nice looking truck you have there! For all of the issues you had getting your truck I hope they took care of you to compensate for the situation.
I don't understand either. But I have the truck.I bet that was an interesting call - "what do you mean it arrived today? I'm looking at the VIN in IA still, what's going on!"
