Anyone have problems with getting cold air to the rear seats. Even with fan on high, there is very little air through the vents under the front seats to the back. Any suggestions ?

I wasn’t aware that A/C upper vent air was supposed to be directed under the front seats to the rear.

If that’s the case, any cool air would just pool toward the rear floor.

Those are heat vents...

Sort of like sitting on the patio with your feet in a kiddy pool.

As others said, those under seat vents are for heat. For rear seat occupants, you're supposed to aim your dashboad vents upward & back toward the rear of the cab.

I believe you can divert cold air to the floor vents as well to speed cooldown 😎

Houston here. This was a big worry for me with no rear air. Happy to report the kids are always cool in the back. I often have to turn it down. Honestly this is the best AC I have ever experienced and is a pleasant bonus for my “economy” vehicle.

Rear Facing infant car seats do not get any air so I purchased the little portable fans that attach to anything just to get air moving back there.

You may want to try (if you haven't already) operating with the air flow set for panel and floor at the same time, this may add more flow to the floor ducts to the back( obviously it will also diminish the flow out the dash registers a bit also), I am assuming you are experiencing low flow back there when you have it set for panel only, or possibly the Automatic setting, which in automatic setting for a cold temp setting it is going to send all air flow out the panel registers.

Ceramic tinted windows really help keep the heat out, I just aim the middle vents to the back, the sides actually blow enough that I don’t need two facing me. Like others have said, best AC I’ve had, especially for being a “bargain” truck

No complaints from my daughter in the back seat. Hot ATL summer. I usually have it set to Auto (3-lights) and 73. It freezes us out after 30 minutes and we end up at 74-76 to avoid our nostrils freezing. No aftermarket tint, yet...

Hi Tom. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.

There was a previous thread where someone posted with a suggestion to use a USB Fan in the back to help circulate the cold air from the A/C.
