9/14/23 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOW ARRIVING!]

Hi all! I messaged my dealer this morning to see if I could update my package and he put it to submit the changes but said he'd get back to me when they are accepted. However, I just received an email from Ford with my original build, and it's now scheduled with a Vin. Am I able to make changes while it's scheduled to be built?

Congrats on the top VIN so far. The only change supposedly that can made after scheduling is the color AFAIK. Anything else, you risk becoming unscheduled... is it that important? Then try, it may still not be accepted.

Yes, thanks all! I did speak with them and they said it can't be changed. I'm still happy with this and the worst case is I refuse delivery. It was just that we started thinking of a what-if scenarios and I thought maybe I should have added 4k instead. I guess ill just have to stick with my awesome black rims and hard-to-remove skid plate. LOL

Sad trombones for me - no luck this week. Something I was curious about - I see very few Carbonized Gray builds scheduled. There look like a lot Atlas Blue and Cactus Gray. I was wondering if Carbonized Gray isn't as popular or if color is one of the factors that goes into determine what Ford schedules at any given time.

My build is XLT hybrid + Lux + CP360 and have noticed a bunch of Lariats last month and this go around too. Unfortunately my dealer won't give info on their number of orders or allocations so I dont know how that factors in.

Well, I got a text and email that my order has been scheduled for last week of Nov. So, this will be a 2024 model and I will get a pvt offer, right? This is an order from Sept, 2022. If I get auto loan from Ford, do they provide loan rate @ Sept,2022? My order is for XL Hybrid.

You should get a transitional private offer for rolling your 23 -> 24, assume you are ordering from the same dealer. As for other incentives, they don't get rolled over. You either get the rate on the day you placed the order for the 24 or when you take delivery, if you finance through Ford.

Hello, I have a question, I ordered my Maverick on July 17th, and was told it may take a while. Based on what I read on this blog it may take a long while. I did receive a text and email on August 31st that I was not scheduled yet so I am at least on some list.

The question is if I am lucky enough to be scheduled sooner than later what day or days are the emails/text messages sent? Is it one day or are they spread out over times?

They will generally do one big scheduling a month. Emails usually go out in a big batch on Thursdays although Tuesday and Wednesday sometimes see a handful of emails.

Today a bunch of builds got scheduled for the majority of November. The other weeks are called "clean up" and they will sometimes schedule a few more to fill in gaps in production or if they have excess capacity.

If you didn't get an email today it's likely you won't see much activity until around the first or second week of October when they start scheduling for December.

Congratulations to all 18,900++ on being scheduled for October and November!!! No news for me; order placed and confirmed 9/16/22. I am considering going is a different direction, for obvious reasons. Again, congratulation to all !!

Based on what I have read, emails go out Thursdays every few weeks for mass scheduling. They schedule a 4 ish week period at a time for the month. The email that went out today was the November scheduling. After the mass scheduling, the following few weeks are cleanup scheduling, meaning that if they have gaps in production, they slide someone’s order in. If you did not get scheduled today (like me), it will probably be another month before you are scheduled.
Those veteran posters, please correct if I am wrong. Thanks!
