WAG here, but I bet a lot of those sales were motivated by "t" threats. Makes me wonder if "days in inventory" went down, and whether we'll see a matching drop in sales this summer? Don't know, just looking forward to see. If Ford were able to produce and sell 16,000 a month, that would be 180,000 sales a year. Not bad in this segment.

Now, what's gonna be announced by other OEMs in the coming year? A little more competition beyond the Santa Cruz might help avoid those 30% price hikes. Otherwise, the base price on a Maverick will be $35,000 in two years (what the market will bear - Ford is still discovering that number).

The real curiosity for me is what sales look like for two timeframes - May and 30 days after employee pricing goes away. I suspect a lot of these purchasers were people maybe buying early due to concern of the future.

The other number that would be useful here is just how many of those sales were on the previously held '24 models that could now be sold after the recall fix was completed.

Autoline is saying there is a rush of people trying to buy what they can before the price increases, or availability becomes an issue. They stated everyone is expecting the pull forward of sales is going to flat line shortly.

I just pulled the trigger and committed to trading my 22 Lariat in for a 25 Lariat in red and AWD. The dealer says 3 month wait, but looking at all the comments here, that seems optimistic. Dealer has about a dozen Mavericks on the lot, but NO hybrids. I really agonized over this. Plus what color. I love the Eruption Green, but also the red. Both colors are drop dead gorgeous. Thought I might get weary of the green, just as I have now become a bit weary of my Area 51 now. As for the 25, wonder why they took off the hybrid badges on the tailgate. I will be getting AWD and Hybrid badges to attach, as I am not ashamed of driving the truck. My MPG has been better than most for some reason, 40+ overall in 18,700 miles, and I love the feel of driving the truck. My dealer has been terrific for these 3 years, but the warranty runs out this month, and to renew the important bits is pricey. That and the very good trade in value now, made me jump for it. Now I have 4 perfectly good 18" snow tires to stretch over 19" wheels... Hope I can trade those in. I hope the default mode is ECO, since it seems people who buy a hybrid would want that. With the uncertainty in the supply chain now, I wonder what the new wait times will be?

Sadly, it isn't. There is a prompt to return the last mode selected, but it does get buried behind the stupid seat-belt notice. I've gotten into the habit to give the mode button (on the steering wheel in 2025's) a double tap to return to Eco.

There are still lots of '24's out there, but when I was trying to get my hybrid last year you had to order them. Its too bad the sales data doesn't break that out.
Even now, ICE outnumbers the hybrid maybe 8:1 and a lot of those are 24's still on the lot.

Partial improvement then, now I have been having to use the button out of direct sight, well over 1000 times probably, taking my eyes off the road. Having that button on the wheel will be an improvement, not perfect, but I wish they would listen to our feedback. Thanks for the info!
