When do you apply for the $500? The dealer gave me the Ford website. But you have to have at least a VIN # I'm guessing. Do you have to wait until you actually sign the dealer paperwork, then apply?

Ah okay, you posted just before me. I got $750 Veterans discount from Ford when i bought me 2018 Escape. Guess it was a different kind of promotion.

ok gents thanks for your service and here is an easy process to get the $500 off. This is funded by Ford and the dealer can’t deny you if you have a certificate.

go to ID.ME and sign up
Once verified military through ID.ME go to the web site @Shawshi said above or Click here
Once you go through the simple process that verifies your status through ID.ME you will receive your certificate good only until Jan 3rd. If you won’t get your truck tell later I’m 100 percent sure the program will be renewed on or near Jan 4th, just wait until then to get your certificate

please bring the cert with you for purchase. Do not wait tell the day of pick up to apply. No vin required. You’re dealer doesn’t care about this promo as ford pays for it. Some offers like Allstate insurance promo Doesn’t work with this one. X plan and military rebate can be combined.

Ok, I just followed your directions and did this. I now have my certificate even though I retired in 2006. I filled everything out accurately and got the certificate.

My certificate states 1000.00 Discount! Problem is it states from Nov 3 - Jan 3, 2022....and I have a hybrid order, I believe already built, but still won't be HERE by 1/3/22 in Michigan. My military service ended in 1982
