NopeIs this a dealer installed option anyway? After delivery
I had a 2005 Trailblazer and the hitch was part of the frame. If the Maverick was made with the hitch as part of the vehicle structure, it would probably be $10 worth of steel and less assembly. Puzzling why it's not standard.I feel hitch package should be included on every truck and a -$100 delete from the invoice if you don't want it.
A lot of people bought Mavericks not for its' truck-like capabilities, but because it was a less-expensive vehicle and available as a high-mpg hybrid. They could care less if it could tow.I had a 2005 Trailblazer and the hitch was part of the frame. I recommend contacting your dealer because if I understand Ford's process you may still be able to add it if the truck hasn't actually started the production cycle. It just went in and I was looking at it and ohsmh
How is that? All mavs should have factory hitch . It would definitely be a deal breaker for me .
