TRAILER HITCH DELAYS

There are only so many hitches planned to come to the factory.
They have more orders for standalone hitches, then they planned for.
They currently, last I heard Tim Bartz say, have not max’d out on Lux packages.
So some people are dropping the standalone hitch and adding Lux package, since it includes the hitch. Something to consider, if you want a hitch.

I am with you 100% and if it is a bust, next order will be with a different manufacture as long as it is a direct competitor to the hybrid Maverick. Price and fuel efficiency are the primary requirement for me. 2023 XLT hybrid HPR with trailer hitch and SIBL only.

I’m trying to decide between the Curt and the Drawtite aftermarket hitches. From those that have installed them, do they both pop through the bumper like the factory (not below the cover)?

If the hitch is the only thing holding up your Mav, Remove it. there are several after market options out there. Hell if you are in the South DFW area, I will install it for you LOL>

I’m trying to decide between the Curt and the Drawtite aftermarket hitches. From those that have installed them, do they both pop through the bumper like the factory (not below the cover)?

The Curt fits within the cutout, the Drawtite hangs below the bumper cover.
