I could not use points at discount, or I guess I don't know how. I have option to use points, or go to checkout and apply discount there. No option to use a discount on points.

It was there for me. I got door sills, a tailgate liner, and a tailgate assist, for the $10 shipping and still have $75 in points left.
The points were right above the place to enter the discount code. But you do have to hit the button to apply the points, and then do the same to apply the discount code (with a different button). Repeat: you have to actively apply the points and the discount separately, before going to the payment page. Then (*and only then*) go to the payment page to enter you credit card. (Apparently you can't use points for shipping or tax.)

If you're logged in it's literally a step you have to go through in checkout before entering your payment. I just redeemed them all this morning, which is why my balance shows 0.

I used all my points last June when I picked up my Maverick. I ordered a hood deflector, window deflectors, and silver Maverick lettering for the tailgate. That consumed all my points. Free, Free, Free, that was a nice addition.

Discount not working for me. Tried using points for tailgate assist. Ended up being $63.00+ with shipping. Not worth the hassle. Ordering from Rough Country for $25.00 with free shipping.

I used my points and the 25% discount and paid $35, including tax and $10 shipping, for a sliding bed divider. Retail was $310. It showed up in 2 days. I'm pretty happy with it.
