Thank you for this. It’s a toy. Like something you would buy your kid. No thank you!
I’m not going to knock it because I heard enough about people asking for exactly what this is…. But I’m also not going to own one.

It’s OK to ask for it but to pay $25,000 for it is insane. To each their own I guess.

It is what it is.
Cheap.

Granted it isn't an EV. but for less than $3000 you can get a base XL Maverick. That I think has better quality than this, at least the Maverick has a locking tailgate.

You are absolutely correct on the Wrap prices $500+is for the diy wrap kit.
You can DIY yourself😱
You hire a professional $,$$$ provided, you can find a professional who will wrap your vehicle without using their own materials??? Hopefully, slate will put together a list of cooperating installers throughout the country or at least in states where they're allowed to sell. All states do not allow direct manufacturer to consumer sales.

🙄 In slate's below statement. I find it funny that slate completely dismisses the fact that.
If you don't like the color of your car after a few years. You too, can change it with a wrap.
🙄

👇Directly from Slate's website👇
With other cars, you pick your color when you buy it, and that’s it. With a Slate, you can pick your color whenever—and change it whenever. It’s the first vehicle of its kind designed to be easily wrapped. And wrap kits will start around $500, so it’s easy on the wallet, too. Go wild. Or not. It’s up to you.
Slate will install the inital wrap for a reasonable fee. For standard wraps, under $500.
