No Problem, it's your order. The ACC20 promo code is active now through 9/30.

Thanks. I still have some Ford Points from my wife's 2020 Escape. Might use them to order a bug deflector. So, they won't go to waste.

I'd remove the hard bedliner. Then with your Ford points around $210 order it from your dealer or https://accessories.ford.com/ Especially since sometimes they have a promo code. Got 20%off last July on the bed extender. Wanted the extra wiggle room when a 5 foot bucket is dumping mulch or top soil in. Will use a tarp under and over for easy cleanup.

The big thing is you don't want to slow down your order from being selected for production.
Thank you for the mention of Ford points. I didn't realize uou get those. Looks like 1% of the purchase.

My dealer is saying I need to provide my SSN because Ford wants to make sure the person ordering is real. Has that been your guys' experience? I practically filled out the credit app but they say they're not going to submit.
I'd be weary of that. My dealer didn't require it. Sounds like they want to do a 'soft pull' on your credit, perhaps.

Looks like most ppl are getting their orders in w/o deposit and w/o issues. My dealer specifically warned me that the wait is somewhere between 10-12 months. Did anyone else get a time frame estimate?

question about the points. do they expire after 12 months? I thought that's what it says on the ford wesbite. although i'm kind confused. are your wife's points from 2020 still good?

12 months of no activity. I get the Escape serviced at the dealer and that adds points, keeping the balance active. So, once the Maverick comes in, I'll have ~85,000 points to use on accessories.

As to your dealer question, mine showed me Ford's chart that basically says the very first 23 Maverick that rolls off the line will be delivered in December and then warned me it will likely be mid to late spring for the flavor I ordered. I told him that was fine. He specifically shooed me away from the Hybrid option given the delays from 22, but I was EB before I walked in so it was a waste of a conversation.

My salesman didn't want to give a timeframe cause he knew anything he said had a very low chance at being correct so just said to be patient and they would keep in touch

That timeline seems right, with the '23 scheduling supposed to start 9/29 and the build startup on or around 11/14, then holiday season, probably be the middle of Jan before the get rolling. Dealer said my Lariat BAP w/CP360 would probably be late spring earliest. But who knows, it's Ford.

Tim just entered mine a couple of hours ago. Here I go, time to wait again with constraints!!!

Luckily I should have a 2022 EB XLT soon to tide me over until it arrives.

My build:

XLT Tremor
Atlas Blue
XLT Luxury Package
CP360
Remote Start

Given that Ford requires the Lariat Luxury for 360Assist, they are limiting the potential pool already, which should hopefully reduce that strain.

I see. I have a FordPass credit card, so I'll use that and generate rewards, maybe buy a ford coffee mug or something. that would count as 'activities' right?
Dunno. I know you have to go to the dealer to spend them. They would be the best people to ask. Though, if you could wait a few days, I would imagine most dealers are a tad busy at the moment.

or i can just do an oil change for my f150 at the dealership before the 12 months ... i think that'll work. :) i'm saving up my points for a dropped in bedliner for when i get the maverick
That's what I do. My dealer has a quicklube and I'd have to drive past it to get to their competitors. I'm usually in and out in 20 minutes.

Hopefully, but then 27 years in the army taught me that I should get used to hurry up and wait.
