My 2023 2.5l hybrid was built in March. It has been sitting at the plant ever since with no information. I've had multiple conversations with Ford. They have said everything from the vehicle is en route, to it's still at the plant, and we don't know why. Finally, today the story is Reprogram power train control module. Remedy not yet available. While surfing online, it seems that this is a simple software update. I find it odd that my recall magically shows up online 2 weeks before another eta is about to be missed. How does Ford plan on fixing the vehicles that haven't shipped yet? My dealership is now trying to tell me that I'll never see my vehicle. That answer seems like a load of bs to me in order for me to get mad enough to drop my order.

In my mind, there would almost have to be something else on it to cause it to sit at the plant for this long.

My truck went in for the ground wire repair on Monday, and when we picked it up today, the PCM reprogram had been completed as well.

I wonder how they are handling the recall repairs at the factory. I just wish I could get some real information when talking to ford. Generally, calling customer service is a waste of time. They don't have a clue.
