Me? I never said my wheels rubbed. I've never had an issue with this setup rubbing. Not even a lil bit.
Ok. Must have confused you with another post. I've been scouring the site for wheel setups. So a 22 fits perfectly that is
Well that is a blanket statement. Everything is relative. Wheel width, offset and tire size.
I see what happened. I thought the original post was yours and that mentioned rubbing.
Where in FL are you? I'm in Boca Raton.

Depending where in Lake county about 3-3.5.

I will dm you my email. Can you send me good pics of the wheels? I might have an interest. I have to find somebody who can Photoshop them on my truck.

Imho.... 22" wheels are not to big. The width and aspect ratio of the tire as well as the offset is why he is "rubbing".

I'm on 22" wheels but measured everything prior to selecting wheels and tires and no rubbing anywhere. Diameter of my tires are the same as my stock 18" wheels are. The Maverick is quite shallow in the rear wheel wells so you cannot go too wide without rubbing the inner plastic fender wells. I went with 255/30/22 for a more sports look rather than rugged (hey its unibody construction anyway). I know its not for everyone and that's ok... we each have different tastes. I also have a 2016 F150 crew cab as well as a 2021 F150 single cab, both lowered and on 24" and 22" wheels respectively. It's just my style...but I will be special ordering a 2024 Ranger that I plan to build as my 1st slightly lifted truck. Excited!

This is my Mav on 22" wheels..... go easy

Your maverick looks sweet brother! I'm debating on 20's or 22's. Are they 22x8.5? How much mpg did you lose? I don't mind losing a little but don't want to kill it.

I’m running 20x9 and a 275, my indicated fuel mileage (hybrid) on the dash hasn’t changed. Although my Speedo is off 1.5 mph.

When you trade more wheel for less tire you just get a much harsher ride. No thanks
