@MaverickDragon, I agree that it's mostly speculation at this point as to software versions amongst the models and that's why I prefaced my statement with, "this may explain". But I thought it would be of benefit to at least be clear as to what the statement in the video was.

Unfortunately the statement wasn't all that clear to begin with... :wink:

Not really a good and accurate comparison, but maybe give a drive out to TFL for the slip test and see how yours fares.
@Tbone289
Comparing experiences with different drivers in different conditions and attributing that to the software on board is the difference could be the case, but who knows if that's it.
Yup, that's why I can only wonder.

I have noticed on vehicles in the past that even going from the positive side of alignment tolerance to the negative can make a relatively huge difference in traction. So a lot of variables to control.

For those too busy to actually watch, he specifically says it at 13:20 in the clip
that's a lot of watching for what appears to be a short paragraph's worth of information . . .

then again, I hate videos in general, as they're usually downright painful to watch.

I think I've found the first official confirmation that the AWD updates are even possible and being worked on, though no timetable is given.

"We are also working to release this new traction calibration as an Over-The-Air (OTA) update for our existing 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD customers. We’ll share more information about timing soon."

I love my Maverick.

Ford pushing this update to me OTA would go a LONG way in making me love Ford.

Saw that few days back, looks like it could apply to 2025-6 models
