never understood the double digits on the keypad. Why not just put 1-2-3-4-5?

With the wireless keypads.....is there any worry someone with a wifi style device could copy (or skim) your code when you enter it ? Also, wondering if the door wiring still has the connector for the wired style keypad?

I've noticed that ford is trying to save a few bucks by not including keyless entry on the lariats anymore. sad. I've also seen that the mounting location is now on the door above the handle. I prefer the pillar mounted keypad. Does anyone know if the 2022 keypad will work on the 2025 models?
I couldn’t live without mine. Best feature EVER

As others said, the only key pad now is the stick-on. Horizontal numbers is all that is now available. However you can still stick it vertically on the door. Just the numbers will show up sideways. Ran into this with my 2024 Lariat... Was not happy. Ended up having them put it just above the handle...

1. Because it's easier to remember sometimes
2. Tradition
3. Because I have the same combination on my luggage

I was really bothered they took this away for 24 besides ordering a stick on one and having the dealer install it. However since I’ve had my truck (24 XLT Eco AWD, FX4). I’ve never missed it since the new vehicles have the Ford Pass with the apl where you can lock/unlock and remote start from your phone. I don’t see the need for this option. Both my other Fords have the keyless touch pad on the pillar. I use it quite often in my ST but that is a 17’ and has no Ford pass App so I see why they eliminated it. Just my .02

I am adding the keyless pad - there are times when I want to leave everything in my truck including my phone probably will also install the locking safe under the rear seat even though I think the price is ridiculous I have a full size gun safe in my home that cost less🤷🏼‍♂️

The center console vault is nice. It's small but it fits my keys, wallet and a micro-compact pew.

I need to have my keypad programmed, I was thinking about putting it on the upper tailgate (plastic trim) area

Just my own curiosity. Why not above the door handle.
don't really want it on the paint. and with the 25, if I have the keys and get near the door, it unlocks. There are times when I need to get in the bed before unlocking the truck and hands are full, or in the driveway without keys. If I had known the new truck had intelligent access, I wouldn't have added it as an option.
