I got a similar email on the one I ordered that started being built on 11/26. It stated the same thing with this addition:
"We’ve made great progress on your new Ford vehicle but have unfortunately experienced unexpected delays." Too bad they didn't give a reason for the delays. At least they've posted my window sticker on fordwindowsticker.com

Most likely your Maverick has been built and is now waiting its turn to be shipped. This may take a while because Ford needs to ship all the Mavericks that have been built during the past 4 weeks.

Perhaps, findings from the quality control checks required some changes to the truck as built.
