Has anyone else had this happen to them? I completed a reservation request on the Ford web site and submitted it. I got an email back from Ford stating that it had been forwarded to my local dealer. I then visited the dealer and completed an order for my Maverick. This was back in late August/early September. Lo and behold about a month ago I get a call from my salesperson that TWO Maverick orders are in for me. The first one is already built and I just got to see it today (Sat Apr 30th). The second order is currently in production. Funny thing is that it appears that the Maverick that was built first was based on my initial reservation request - this was when you needed Co-Pilot 360 to be able to also order the manual rear window. Since I did not want Co-Pilot 360 this Maverick does not have the sliding rear window. The one currently being built does have the manual sliding rear window. Almost everything else is exactly the same.
Anyways, since I did not need the vehicle right away and my choice is to have the sliding rear window I am not buying the Maverick that is at the dealership. Anyone on Oahu that is interested, it is an Alto Blue Hybrid XLT with SIBL, full size spare and 110v outlet in cab. Cutter Ford Aiea.
