Just wanted to share my ongoing experience.
Bought new 2025, took in for EPB recall, noted the presence of vibration at highway speeds..
The build date was supposedly when the new improved axels were implemented and "I should not have been affected by the older defective cv axels".. not sure if they were still trying to get rid of a few old stocks, and I just got unlucky, or someone at the factory made a mistake..
But the axels were bad when I drove it off the lot, QC inspection overlooking/ missing that considering it was an ongoing repair campaign is crazy to me.
Ford is replacing them, not a big deal.. but if these were in fact the updated axels and they're still bad, it doesn't instill great confidence for the new set they'll be installing.
First brand new car I've ever had issues with, I have been buying new so I don't have to deal with repairs, but here's to hoping this is the end of my troubles with it..
