While this seems cynical and tongue in cheek at first it really is a good estimate based on what has happened and is happening. And god help you if you order an XL hybrid.
Ha, was thinking about it. I’m one of the weirdos that like the steelies. Reminds me of my old 91 Ranger. But I wanted a moonroof which currently is not an option for xl.

Since they are not doing rollovers, nobody can ever guarantee that it will be build
My dealer said they will be doing rollovers! He told us not to cancel the order we have for a hybrid now because we have decided to go with an Ecoboost instead. They won't let us change the order for some reason. He thinks they will give a bonus for the wait and then we can change it to a ecoboost when it rolls over. Sure hope he is correct!

He's probably going by what happened last year but there is no guarantee it will work the same this year.

Apologies if this has already been covered in detail. But if I order a new 2024 Maverick on July 17 and Ford actually is on schedule and delivers on a normal timeframe (I know unicorns and rainbows will also appear ) around what date would it deliver? Just trying to plan on when those payments will kick in - best case scenerio.
July 18th........2024.

There seems to be a growing consensus here so I will try to summarize: Financially, plan for December 2023. Emotionally, plan for Perpetuity 202X.
...and I'll follow that with the old adage: "plan for the worst, hope for the best" Despite all the poking fun you'll find on this site, Ford does continue to produce these vehicles and they're even ramping up production. Who knows - maybe Ford will surprise you with one the first 24 models off the line?

This just your dealer re-entering an order for you. Ford, as far as the manufacturer goes, has indicated that there are no true "roll overs".

At this time, Ford has not said they they are prioritizing orders that are from people that had un-built 2023s.
Maybe your dealer will choose to give you the lowest possible priority number (that will help you when compared to other orders at your dealer)...that along with changing to an ecoboost will for sure help (assuming your dealer gets allocations to begin with).

July 17th order date will most likely get pushed back like the date to order 23's did. 4 months to a year if you are lucky and actually get a 24.

I ordered a 2023 XLT Hybrid on Sept 17th. I got my email May 18 stating it is, as of then, scheduled for production the week of July 10th. It is just a basic XLT, with no options added. Others have gotten theirs within a few months. No idea as to why…
On the there hand I ordered my Maverick Hybrid in October of 2021 and it's not built yet.

Order as if you do not need it. Ford is in chaos.
If you need the truck, then, the delays will be extremely disappointing.

I’ll be honest, I have a perfectly great 2006 Tundra with 218k miles on it. It will probably do me another 100k. Maverick is like my dream truck though.

I believe that Maverick Hybrid will be worth every single day of the wait. Only a true fan will be waiting for the car for so looong (y) but of course it is not ok for any car vendor to make their clients wait for years. That is why I finally decided to choose a used Nissan Altima on abetter.bid at far more affordable price. 2 years of owning ans zero complaints so far!

I've been fortunate in as much I have had a very reliable vehicle to drive while waiting. No pressure.

Has it been scheduled (VIN assigned) yet?
Yes , last week of June.
Little confusing as it says week of June 29th? Normally it's the week of starting with a Monday.
