This same thing happened to me yesterday. Dropped it off at 7am, no loaner car provided, called at 12:30, 2:30, and at 4pm to finally get an update stating the vehicle did fail the test and that they will now order the parts.Took mine in a few weeks ago for regular oil change + to address this recall (dealership where I ordered and purchased it). I had scheduled the appointment several weeks in advance and they knew the recall was to be addressed. They had it in the shop for about 6 hours before telling me they didn't have the part to fix the recall. Okay, I guess let's re-schedule. Went back in last week and they addressed the recall.
Now I want to inspect the work done, but not exactly sure what I'm looking for. Was it just simply missing wires in the harness before?
9.5 hours to be told something I already knew and parts werenāt ordered when I scheduled the appt a month prior. Itās bad. Itās very bad.
