Praise God I luckily have a VIN and build date for a MY22 and won’t have to go thru that cluster nightmare, at least that’s my understanding, let me know if I’m all wrong

I'm a Oct. Order so I knew I was going to have to wait awhile for my Maverck. As summer came and no build date I was resigned to the fact that I was probably going to get a 2023. Now 5 days from when order banks are (aledgeally) opening Ford still can't tell us what's going on
My salesman told me they were suppose to open Aug. 25th. If I wait until the 25th I'd lose out again.I'm stopping Aug. 2nd just in case but how can so many dealers be telling people so many different days. What a s%* t show

The really sad part about all of this is Ford could solve this problem by posting the date the order banks open for each model on their website, something an IT intern at Ford could accomplish in an afternoon.

There is really no excuse for not having the "Build and Price" function on the website updated the day ordering is available, but if they can't do that, they can certainly post order bank opening dates.

Earlier this month, Ford Authority reported that 2023 Ford Maverick order banks for models equipped with the Ford 2.0L I-4 EcoBoost engine were scheduled to open up on August 2nd, 2022, with production beginning at the Hermosillo Assembly plant on October 24th. However, it was unclear if that would also be the case with 2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid order banks, which were slated to open a couple of weeks later, on August 15th. Now, sources familiar with the matter have told Ford Authority that 2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid order banks will also open up on the second of the month, too. - Fordauthority

i hope so. if i wanted to spend 47 grand on a new truck, i definitely wouldn't be getting a 2wd maverick.
