2023 Ford Maverick production was originally scheduled to begin at the Hermosillo Assembly plant on on October 24th, 2022, but has now been pushed back to November 14th, 2022. This pushback coincides with an extension of 2022 Maverick production, which is likely a way for the automaker to fulfill more current-year customer orders given its immense backlog.

The graph makes sense if you shift the titles one column to the right. It sucks, but it makes sense.

My bad, copy/paste from Fordauthority didn't come over correctly. Moved 'em over.

No surprise here . Hopefully the chip issues is less of an issue .
A lot of people on MTC suggested something like this as a more sensible solution to work through the backlog in an organized way instead of having overlapping dates. Kudos to the MTC crowd(y)

Any chance new and not rolled over MY22 orders will see major price increase just like they just announced with the MY23 Lightning (+$8500 across all trims)?

I'd rather order a mid-size truck if the price increase is that high. Hybrid or not.

They already increased the price across all trims for MY 2023, yeah?
I'm not sure. I'll admit I haven't followed the news/rumors of MY23 closely, but I thought not even the dealers know what's to come with pricing yet.

That was for 2022MY. We haven't seen anything for 23MY yet. Some believed that's close to what it will be, but since it was only the trims and not tech-heavy options like the luxury packages or CP360 I wouldn't be surprised if there's more to come.

Inviting some wild speculation: how many Ecoboost non lux orders do we think are out there and how many of those will they fill by November?

Hmmm I wonder if this means I might get my hybrid after all? I still don’t have a VIN, Oct 2021 order.

LOL nah, just saying that a lot of people on here (not me, I'm kind of a dummy about all this) pointed out that the overlapping dates were a confusing boondoggle.

I would imagine it isn't a big thrill to those who were excited to roll over to MY 2023 so they didn't have to drop options, but what's another couple weeks at this point really?
