Tim, did you happen to see this before? It looks like it was dated in May. Not sure if it's a vendor or who they are.
I've never seen it but you are right it does look like a company providing parts to Ford factories. But that figures into what I've mentioned in my livestream. I knew that the last week of July scheduling was that week. And since the unscheduled orders will need to be converted to 2023, that will need to happen before taking orders, August 15th.

Yeah it seemed to line up with what you have been saying.

Who wants to bet that my Maverick is one of the last to roll off the line for 2022?

I dont have a build date, I'm a confirmed order 7/07/21 Order Lariat, lux, co pilot oxy white, order still waiting to be scheduled. Tim the video guy mentioned in one of his videos all June July and Aug orders will be 2022 and build up to October 2022. And Sept 2021 and up will ve 2023. Unless its all changed.
I would hope that Ford would make this happen, talk about stringing you along if it doesn't happen.

You mentioned before that Ford was going to build vehicles by the date ordered, so far we have not seen that happen with the Mavericks, so in theory, those who ordered in June, July, and Aug 2022 might not get their Mavericks for MY22?

I believe that Tim @fordvideoguy stated that Ford was going to prioritize scheduling builds going forward based on order dates with consideration of constraints.

Note that constraints are still holding back scheduling build dates.

I also note you mentioned "build vehicles". Current built vehicles are those that were scheduled months ago.

I spoke with my dealer yesterday and he told me that if we don't make MY 2022, our order will automatically roll over to MY 2023. But I thought I saw in another thread that if you don't make 2022, your order will be cancelled and you must re-submit an order, and for those people, the order bank would open up a week early. Does anybody know how this would actually go down?

@fordvideoguy does this change the guidance that all First Editions will be built? Thank you for all that you do for the group.

If you don't have a VIN by 8/4 then you won't be getting a 2022 Maverick.
Why does having a VIN guarantee a 2022 build? With folks getting pushed back weeks/months already it seems like Ford could simply push us right back to 2023 if they had to.

The 10th digit in the VIN indicates the model year. So no, once the VIN is issued it cannot be punted to a different MY.

I'm not Tim, but he has said repeatedly that the FEs will be built for MY22. It would hardly be a FE if it was built in the 2nd year. This post is not new information. This has been known for a while and changes nothing.

Orders don't automatically roll. Leftover orders get moved to Priority 99, and they have to be resubmitted through ROVP. It's our understanding based on Tim's livestream that as long as you keep basically the same order, you'll be at the front of the line. IF, though, you were to change your order from Hybrid to EB or vice versa, you could lose your spot in line.

Not sure if that is correct. The tenth digit on my VIN is a letter and I have a Schedule build week of 8/8/22.

Oh, it's correct. It should be a letter. N, right? N is the letter code for MY22.
