first time posting here is mt storey
ordered a 2022 xl hybred, in the 8 months it took ford to build and deliver the local dealership had a new sales staff and my negeotiated deal was null and void. no administration fees, ect. just sticker. at that time, i could of bought it anywhere and chose to stay local
fast forward to 20000 miles and I start asking why my tires are wearing funny. I change oil per the dealer every 5000 with tire rotation. they told me its because I pull a 16 ft aluminum fishing boat. at 25000 they told me it because ford put on cheap tires. the tires were continental a 65000 mile tire i believe. at 38000 the rears were virtually bald and with a road trip, i had my ford dealer put a set on.
the dealer wanted 160 for an alignment, my local midas wanted 180 for 5 years, unlimited alignments. went with midas
now for the good stuff,
the right front camber is off -1.4 degrees and there is no adjustment available. ford built it wrong according to midas. I have a 2 oclock today with the dealer to determine if that is correct.
midas told me, you cannot tell its off by driving, it will drive just fine, just enough to wear out tires.
anyone else out ther with this experience???
but for all the recalls, dealer BS and now this, I really like this vehicle it does everything I need a truck to do and still get 50 MPG
will let you know what the dealer finds later today
