Received Maverick XLT hybrid with CoPilot 360, hitch, & 400 W/120V on Friday April 8, 2022.
Ordered Aug 18, 2021.

Disengaged emergency brake. Then proceeded to slowly drive out of dealer lot and heard a loud clank. Haven't been able to duplicate it since with or without engaging/disengaging e-brake.

Front driver fender just aft the front wheel seemed misaligned vs passenger side. Plastic sticks out or fender pushed in on driver side vs flush on passenger side. Planned to get molded splash guard but may have big gap on driver side.

Random electric humming noise driving 40 mph or less. Can't tell if it's just pedestrian warning sound in EV mode or just loud electric components under the hood of driver's side. It occurs in EV as well as ICE mode. Can't hear it with radio on. My RAV4 hybrid has pedestrian warning sound in EV mode.

Have either a strong new car smell or some fumes coming from the vents when fan is on.

Great gas mileage so far. Mixed city & hwy. 122 miles total with 42.9 mpg computer reading. Haven't driven enough to fill gas tank for hand calculation.

Factory tire pressure inflated to 39 psi.

Plenty of power. Gas/electric pedal can be sensitive on normal mode. Adapted to pedal throttle position easily within a day. Or just switch to eco mode.

Brake pedal also very sensitive. Easily go past regen braking to hydraulic disc braking when not paying attention when modulating brake pedal. I had similar learning curve on RAV4 hybrid though not as pronounced.

My boney rear end says the cushy driver seat on the Maverick is more comfortable than the firmer Rav4 hybrid synthetic leather driver seat after a drive.

Sounds system/radio more than adequate for my needs.

Showed some friends the new Maverick over the weekend. Even let a couple of them test drive it. Two who were on the fence but didn't order before the order banks closed for the hybrid regrets their indecision. A couple more that weren't in the market were impressed and put it on their shopping list.

One more thing. Maverick hybrid distance to empty increases as I drive. RAV4 hyrbid distance to empty drops faster than mgp/mileage traveled. Both computers display similar mpg numbers.

So, the pedestrian alert works regardless of gas eng on or off, forward and reverse, and the Distance to Empty is based off the average MPG for the past 500mi, regardless of when the trip meter/avg MPG was last reset. Because it's based on cumulative mileage, it's also affected by any idle time during assembly, setup and/or dealer prep. After you've put 500mi on the truck yourself, the DTE should be accurate. Tire pressure, 39 is a bit high, but honestly, I usually leave the tires a psi or 2 high during pre-delivery setups myself, knowing it'll drop over time. The brake pedal feel takes a bit of getting used to, as do a few of the drivetrain noises. I wouldn't be too concerned about the clank, esp if it hasn't acted up since.

Smell will go away in a couple of weeks. I have had the same smell when new. No longer smell it. Clanking sound. Probably from the brakes. Every once in awhile I hear it. Trucks brakes work perfect.

Braking is different than my other vehicles. You have to get use to it. Alignment, talk to the dealer about fixing it.
