We just completed an 11 day road trip in our '22 Maverick Lariat hybrid from the Dallas area to Chicago, parts of Wisconsin, Kansas City, and back to DFW. The ride was comfortable and fairly quiet. We had no failure to start incidents, breakdowns, or catastrophic fires.
According to the Maverick we got 36.7 mpg for the trip. It was mostly highway miles with speed limits ranging from 65 to 75 mph and cruising 4-5 mph over the limit. This was better than expected. Prior to the trip, we had gotten 39.5 mpg overall in a combination of expressway and city driving.
Today when I wash it I'll expose how many rock chips we got.
