Anyone else notice that with the A/C & recirc both on that the vents put out noticeably less air than with the recirc switched off? Have a 23 XLT with Lux pkg. Seems a bit odd to me.
I wouldn't buy a new vehicle and store it for any more that a month. You'll still lose 1 year of your warrantee and need to insure for theft. It will also depreciate over the year it's sitting. It's not good to let a vehicle sit and not be started, and leaving it on battery on a trickle charger...
FYI - For those doing the "mirror mod with HomeLink". Chamberlain/LiftMaster made a change earlier this year which limits MyQ app's ability to communicate via google assist. I found this out when my old Genie/Overhead Door opener broke and I replaced it with the Chamberlain (Wifi and myQ opener...

Make sure your AA is updated. New update was rolled out about 1 week ago. I've updated and had no issues.

I have had my hybrid XLT for right at a year now and live in a relatively flat area of west Texas. My driving is about a 50/50 split on Hwy/City (40-70 MPH speed range). I don’t drive like a granny or have a lead foot, generally running in ECO or Normal modes (no towing or cargo). I currently...
I have the same Moto G Power and if using BT, it will drop calls. I have found that using the USB cable connected through Android Auto will eliminate this issue. I did a simple mod to plug the phone in to the orange storage area just beneath the the cigarette lighter outlet. It work very well...
Got mine on ebay for about $100 less. I ordered both from Amazon and ebay and the box tags were identical part#'s. Free return on Amazon. I did not put the weatherstrip on the front bulkhead and I have very little leakage had washing or in rain (have not run the truck through a car wash).
I've had my Maverick for about 3 month now and have had difficulty getting use to the narrow field of vision in the rear view mirror. I found the following has really helped me:
I don't usually have anyone in the back seat except the granddaughter's car seat and discovered that simply removing...
I did this to hide and secure the USB cable. One can pull the usb port panel lose by using a trim tool to pull it out towards the shift knob. This will allow you access to the "tray" that holds the usb port panel and 12v socket (This will work on the lariat as well with the start button). I...
I'm at a loss here....Anyone have a intermittent power issue with their mirror when tapping into the purple/white wire in the overhead console. It all seems to lose poser while driving at night. If I pull out of the garage the next day into the sunlight, everything begins working again until I...
175 lbs is the load rate, not a torque spec. I just hand tighten mine with the rubber washer so it will not back off. Also, if you have something hooked through the eye it will not move but about a 1/4 turn. If your needing something that will carry over 175lb rating in a Maverick, you've...
I just went to Amazon and got these polished stainless steel 8mm threaded eye bolts with 175 lb grade rating. They work great and are easily moved to any of the 4 mounting points on each side of the bed where the Ford Locking Rails would attach. I put a rubber washer on it to help hold it and so...
----DO NOT BUY FROM Shottenkirk Ford ---
Steer Clear of Shottenkirk Ford in Granbury, TX....
So, I've been looking for an XLT Hybrid with the Lux pkg for months. Got a call late June from a sales rep with Shottenkirk Ford in Granbury, TX about a new Maverick that was in to be in production soon...
