So far, so good I'd say!
In ForScan I did toggle the battery type to "flooded" at one time and did not see differences in the battery voltages. There may not even be a different set of charging parameters behind that "flooded" software toggle. I can't tell either way with certainty but it wouldn't surprise me either as there's really no need. Remember that these software toggles are not typically available to the vehicle owner.
