So you pressed the >> button and the power button in the middle of the volume knob and this did not work?

The lower right button is the hang up the phone button but also has an > on it, and doubles as the forward audio button, this may be what they are referring to. I doubt it will help at this point though.

Which in this case - means disconnect the negative battery cable for a couple minutes, before connecting again.

Or - if you already have Forscan Lite - there is a Service process for rebooting most the modules - APIM included.

Will Forscan work with an ELMscan327? I do have a wireless OBDII dongle. It might be worth a try.

For instance this should be noted before disconnect.

2. Switch all electrical equipment off, for example lights and radio.

Note: The engine management system has a power hold function and remains powered for a period of time after you switch the ignition off. This is to allow the system to store diagnostic and adaptive tables. Disconnecting the battery without waiting can cause damage not covered by the vehicle warranty.

Thanks for your advice. I'll give it a try.
I did connect with Forscan. No current DTCs, but i do see there were some past DCTs. Below is the section where these were listed. Ethernet failures in APIM are a concern I believe. I'll do the battery disconnect in the morning.

As wierd as it stopped working days ago, All is working fine after connecting with Forscan. I didn't run any Service Module Resets and there were no DCTs. All I know is I started it up after disconnecting from the OBDII so I could run it for a while and make sure the battery was up and damn the display is magically working again.

I had almost exactly the same thing happen with my Ford Edge (which I think had Sync 2). The center screen and the right instrument cluster screen just froze one day while cruising down the freeway. HVAC still worked since there were capacitive touch buttons. Did the whole song and dance to try a reset and disconnected the negative terminal on the battery to no avail.

Plugged in a Snap On tablet to check all available modules. Found nothing except some occasional U0100, which in and of itself isn't really alarming cuz they can be triggered for any number of reasons.

Figured it'd have to go back to the dealership. Started it up to move it out of the way and...the screens booted up and resumed like nothing was ever wrong. I racked on like 150,000 more miles on that car and it never did it again.

My 2025 Maverick Tremor Center Display just stopped working. It's just a black screen. 1,700 miles on the odometer. Fuses checkout ok. Of course the local Dealership can't look at it for week. Anyone else experience this?

The display is back to normal operation. Thanks to everyone who responded to this post with your recommendations and ideas on how to solve the issue. I tried everything, Nothing worked. Scroll down to my last post to see how the display magically started working again. Weird, just weird!

Well that was quick. It lasted one day. I turned on the truck yesterday and once again, no 13" display operation. Glad I didn't cancel the dealership appointment.

It's been at the dealership for 6 days so far. They said the problem is in the display itself. We are waiting for the replacement part. No ETA. At least they provided a 2025 F150 XLT loaner for free. The Maverick being my first ever truck, I'm sure I'll never get a full size truck. The F150 drives great, but parking lots, garages, etc are just a pain for me.

After I had my backup camera recall done. I had some popup screens one was no camera found. The backup camera was working so maybe it was for the front camera. Who knows. The remote tech had left an said that he was booked up, couldn't turn and come back until 2nd day. Said if I wanted I could try disconnecting new battery cable for 10 minutes and if that did not work try 30 minutes. Neither worked. Went out about 4 hours later and it worked fine. Tech came by on his scheduled time and reset all codes including history. Have not had problem for six weeks now. Do not know but half of time I will double lock my truck to shut down the delay off circuits early and maybe I did that before I left truck for the four hour rest. Maybe that shutdown turned something off and helped. No idea.

Thanks to all for the response I received in trying to fix this issue on my own.

It took two weeks for the dealership to receive a new display unit. They installed the new one and all is fine now. On a side note, the Maverick Tremor is my 1st ever truck. After driving the loaner F150 XLT Crew Cab for two weeks, I reaffirmed that I will never own a full size pickup and my choice on a Maverick was the correct one.
