“This Trip” not working on display?

My 25 hybrid has exhibited same issue at least 3 times as well. Has just short of 4k miles. No clear reason, and it seems to resolve with next trip. Definitely a bug.

On the instrument cluster all of a sudden the “This Trip” data stopped working. It only counts the time but it stopped accumulating any mpg or total mileage data. It’s like that one window just broke. I tried turning the car off and restarting. Still doesn’t work. Note: when I finish each trip and turn car off it still shows the summary for the current trip on the display next to the little Maverick picture. So from this I can deduce that it’s capable of measuring each trip. But it’s just that it stopped doing it in real time on the This Trip windiw. My truck is a brand new 2025 with less than a month of use. What’s going on?

Putting this here incase google brings someone here, my 2025 did this avour 1 hours ago- the way I fixed it, put fuel in it(about 3 gallons) just need enough for it to register., walk away from the truck eith it off abd lock the doors. Wait about 10 min-fixed


edit- cant get it to happen again but, these things i did above may work seperatly or on their own. id tried the turn it off, get out, lock it, and walk far away then come back. ive noticed when detailing the truck when i get close i would here relays click(without touching anything)

Just had this happen to me, 2025 Maverick 2.5 hybrid. 1200mi or so.

It does appear like just the display isnt working, but i swear the electric motor is not being used as much either. Besides hearing the gas motor, the indicator for electric/hybrid seems to more quickly go to hybrid. I have noticed that you can go electric up to about 25mph before the gasoline kicks in, but now, it seems like its kicking in faster, around 10 or 15mph.

Also, the indicator for how the battery "charges" seems like it's not fully charging.

Anyways, just parked, will see in the morning.

Keyless entry right? Fob moving in pocket or hand?
Sensors are being enabled so you can touch the handle to open, others so it can tell where the fob is.

But you were approaching it with the fob = "He's coming, get ready".

'26 XL AWD hybrid - a forum and google search led me here. Mine does this from time to time and just bumping the thread to see if anyone's gotten any info from the dealer or directly from Ford as to why it happens?

It doesn't affect cumulative MPG calculations, just the 'this trip' mileage. It's happened thrice in 1000 miles, which isn't a huge deal - just annoying.
