Unfortunately it may speak to the dealership not issuing a ticket to the master technicians for support. Is your truck in for the same issue? You're lucky, mine has been at the dealer for 2 weeks now and not a single update. The Ford account on this forum reached out to me twice to gather information but hasn't done anything about it so far.
I do know the feeling my 2019 ram promaster 2500 work van has been at the dealer since before Christmas. Last week we finally got information that Chrysler has put a hold on the transmission for that model. This only happened because my boss kept pestering Chrysler directly. The dealership did and still has done nothing in the last few months. But Chrysler has gotten directly involved to hopefully this will spur them into action. The trouble codes that I scanned from the van myself say there may be a bad shaft sensor but they will not look into it unless the can drop the transmission completely which is the reason they haven't as the have vans with blown transmissions on the lifts. My boss has a rebuilt transmission lined up but he wants Chrysler to pay for it as the are stopping the "factory" new transmission. The van has 50k on it and has a 60k drive train warranty.
My problem MAY be resolved tomorrow I have about 5hrs worth of driving so if it is gonna return should be tomorrow.
