12 v charging issue

Sorry to hear you are still having trouble. I only have 1000 miles and Mine just died, luckily just got off highway. Towed to the dealer , and they got me a rental call . Call and siad it was a loose wiring harness . Got in the truck and it said electric information not available , started to drive and it said charging system failure , park somewhere safely. I did not even get out of the lot! They took the car back and got me another rental. While the dealer is handling the costumer service pretty well, i do question the service department! Will see what they say next! I even asked if the checked all the battery cables and the charge on the battery. Thanks for all the posts it helps others to understand whats going on.
if it happens again i am going to sell it or use the CA lemon law.

My Maverick sent out the "charging service now" error along with a brake, an AWD failure, then threw a coolant error (no leaking or smoke but the thermostat pegged the H), (I suspect the fan didn't come on because of the battery). I charged the batteru to 88% and I think it was 14.4 v (on AGM and 12v) and then it ran but the check engine light was on. I got gas and then on the way home all the same stuff. I had a jumper with me and pulled over to the fire station (about a mile from my home). popped the hood the reservoir was boiling I let it cool down and jumped it then barely got home. I got out of the vehicle and it locked itself. I love my Maverick, but not today -- Hot Chili Pepper, XLT, AWD, 4k, sunroof, factory bedliner. I was getting 34 mpg in the Summer.
