Correction - Those are at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo not Long Beach. bid is around 2500 right not so- $250 each? Too far for me to drive.

Especially with out a tailgate. Everything would out the back of your truck.

I have done exactly what you've suggested. Buying the lot keeping what I needed and selling the rest. But not with something as big, bulky and heavy as tailgates.
Time + labor + Proper/Adequate Packaging cost + shipping cost = pain in the 🫏

Best if you live within driving distance to auction. Buy a trailer, contact a Uber hot shot hauler, whatever they are called., I forget.

I didn't mean buying the tailgate. The pain in the ass I meant, was the reselling, packaging and shipping the remain 9 tailgates you don't need. After buying the lot of 10.
