We're reading into the audio thing, because you stated the voltage fluctuation is causing audio problems. I just wanted to know what audio problem you're having, for possible future reference or maybe having to useful insight that may help you. Again, just trying to help.... low info in = low...
So what is the actual problem you're having with your audio? I'm running Audison with separate DSP, and have had zero issues. Granted, I have a hybrid, but... I'd bet you more than likely have a signal input issue, rather than a voltage issue. I'm just guessing though, since we don't know...
The sub will fit ANY maverick, B&O or standard stereo. Crutchfield lists it as not working with the B&O, because they don't want people thinking it is a plug and play replacement for the factory sub. That's my guess anyway. That storage compartment is the same regardless of trim or engine...
Seems like I remember Ford making some police interceptors with the 2.0 ecoboost at one point(explorer possibly). If that is true, you may be able to source an alternator from one of those and make it work. Another option may be finding a way to cram a bigger battery in the factory location by...
You DO NOT need an LC2i or any other LOC. The key is handling the mids and highs, and the JL microsub can take high level inputs just fine. You did the most important thing you needed to do already for the sub, which is set the factory EQ to flat. You should be good to go ;)
It looks like it has a seal on the lid, so probably is. I would buy that box immediately, if I knew where to get it! Hopefully, they'll be available soon, because I want one!
Did you every have any luck finding touch paint for the black wheels? I got a couple rock chips on mine, but I've been hesitant to try just any black paint given the satin/matte finish of these BAP wheels.
I don't want to jinx myself here, but I'm at 45K miles with my original battery in my hybrid. I've never charged it or gotten the deep sleep problems. I also have an aftermarket stereo with 5 channel amp, separate DSP, sub and speakers. It sits without being driven from Friday afternoon till...
If you're not majorly versed in using/ setting up a DSP, going with the Kicker Key amps would be your most trouble free simple move. The key amps have auto DSP, are super simple, and work quite well. Many people on here have had great results with them. If you're really finicky about the...
I can't think of any situation where the lc5 is needed, unless installing aftermarket amps that don't have speaker level inputs. Still, you'd be much better served installing a DSP if you're wanting to do upgrades. You'll need the DSP to get the sound right anyway.
I believe sync 4 is standard across all trims of the 2025, so I don't know if this plan is going to work. If it does, it may not be easy. It definitely won't be cheap, especially if you have the base stereo. There will also be the trim pieces. I don't think this is going to be a easy as...
Interesting... I've mainly noticed the issue when braking from highway speeds to a stop down hill. I did have it do it once in some down hill sections in the mountains in the twisty bits(not cool). I've also figured out that braking harder and avoiding trying to get much regen seems to reduce...
I've seen a couple posts with this issue, and the only one that claimed to get it fixed said the dealer replaced his high voltage battery I think. I'm not completely sure I buy that, and I'm hoping someone else will post with a different solution. I would link that post I saw, but I can't find...
Are you talking about shudder, or an occasional thunk (like dropping the clutch on a manual)? I've had the thunk happen a few times when slowing to a stop from highway speeds, usually down hill. I don't know what it is though. I have manufacture date of 7/23.
You've got the main power question sorted, now to the amplifier turn on signal... The best way is to run that ACC turn on to either fuse 3 or 6 in the passenger floor fuse box. You definitely don't want to use signal sense turn on, and possibly(not positive on this) not tap into the rear...
These AI boxes can do anything your phone can do. They run on Android, and can use most any app phones can use. I don't have the same one as the OP, but I do absolutely love mine.
