If you get a component set and put the mid/woofers under or behind the seat, it really won't help a lot. Vocals will be almost gone and muffled, because the tweeters only play the upper ranges where little vocals actually exist. It just isn't a recipe for good sound, regardless of sound level...

You may not need a LOC at all, if your amp(or DSP in my case) has high level inputs. Most do have high level inputs.

I'd get the ones with the best lighting performance. I haven't seen any in person to know for sure, but something tells me the Form lights will perform quite well. The difference in looks is minimal, when you get used to it. Function over form is my advice :)
