  1. ForScan Flat EQ before key200.4?

I'm not familiar with that enclosure. I know there are multiple Sound Decisions, so maybe you're talking about a different one than I am thinking of. Either way, something must be going on. It could be the rear speaker taps, but I can't say for sure given I've never used them myself. I was...
  2. ForScan Flat EQ before key200.4?

There could be a lot of reasons for this really. I am pulling my signal from the fronts, fwiw. What sub/enclosure do you have?
  3. ForScan Flat EQ before key200.4?

Check to make sure your stereo is set to "all seats" and not driver in the settings. I think I remember someone saying you'll get full signal to the rears if it is set to all seats. I'm not sure if that is relevant or not when the EQ has been set to flat. As far as the wire colors, I'm...
  4. Anyone figured out when/where we can get this Ford storage box yet?

I don't have a bed cover, which is also why the weather sealed bit is important too for me.
  5. Anyone figured out when/where we can get this Ford storage box yet?

That looks useful for sure! I think I'm gonna hold out for a while for the Ford(likely overpriced) one, since it seems like you can also secure it to the bed too. I like the idea of not having to remove it to keep it from being stolen. I know you can secure anything, if you're creative enough...
  6. JL Stealthbox Install / Review

I can't comment personally about the LC2i, but I can say with 100% certainty that the factory signal is cut below 40-ish hz. A straight LOC won't really help, but the LC2i may help some. I would recommend anyone with a sub(LC2i or not) to do the Forscan setting and listen to the difference for...
  7. JL Stealthbox Install / Review

It isn't hard at all. The Flat EQ setting is in the "easy" setting mode of Forscan, so you literally just click on the Flat EQ setting. All you need is a $50 cable(if you get a good one recommended by Forscan). The software itself is free for a short term license, or you can buy a long term...
  8. Anyone figured out when/where we can get this Ford storage box yet?

I'm also assuming that the bed of the 2025 will be the same as the previous year models, and that it will fit my 2023. Either way, it appears it would be a hugely useful accessory. I'm betting Ford won't be able to keep them in stock, once people figure out how to get their paws on one!
  9. Anyone figured out when/where we can get this Ford storage box yet?

I've seen those, but that is nowhere near the fit and quality of the box pictured on Ford's site. It also isn't weather sealed like the Ford box. There are countless options out there that can work, but I haven't seen any that come close to being that "good".
  10. JL Stealthbox Install / Review

If you didn't go into Forscan and set the factory EQ to Flat, then you're likely missing out on a lot of the JL sub's capability. Without the Forscan change, all bass below 35-40hz is not going to be present in the signal your amp/sub are seeing. If you haven't done that, doing it will make...
  11. Anyone figured out when/where we can get this Ford storage box yet?

This storage box pictured on Ford's site is exactly the accessory I need, but I have no idea when ford will actually show one for sale. I know it has brought up in a couple of threads before, but I figured I throw it out there again...
  12. Hybrid sub wattage limit - 350ws? Also recommendations for best sub 0.45 ft sealed box

Don't pay any attention to what crutchfield says about 350w. It's just a generalized statement, and the Maverick hybrid can handle much more. Your low bass is going to be limited by enclosure size more than anything. Just pick the sub brand you prefer with the lowest recommended air space...
  13. Subwoofer install troubleshooting

The easiest way to tap the fronts is to pop the climate controls panel off, and the plugs are right behind it. Super easy to get to. That panel just pops right off if you pull it straight back. Then you can get one of these little guys, so you don't have to cut a single factory wire ...
  14. Connecting a fiio M23 dap to ford sync3

This will solve your audio problems(well one like it since this one isn't available right now): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CGJ6TM5W/?coliid=I11365PU759YFH&colid=3PFZ6ZV9U0BCP&psc=0&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it I was in the same boat as you with sound quality. The "AI Box" will let you play...
  15. TPMS alert of low tire pressure, then other things happening

Your truck is just doing Maverick stuff, lol. The tire pressure was exactly what it was supposed to do, and the other stuff was just a Maverick being a Maverick. They randomly get confused sometimes, but usually figure it out after a few minutes or key cycles. I wouldn't worry about it ;)
  16. Puzu amp/dsp install help please

You just yank off the section where the HVAC controls are. That section literally just pulls straight back, and then you'll have access to all of the stereo plugs. You may need to get a plastic pry bar/panel tool to get behind it to pop it off, but it is super simple and easy.
  17. Request - Disable / Reconfigure BMS

I feel like disconnecting the ground at the battery, so it doesn't interfere with the BMS, along with a short chassis ground is going to solve your problem. Do multiple chassis grounds(one for each amp) if you need to, but I'd get that ground off the battery myself. These newer cars don't do...
  18. Request - Disable / Reconfigure BMS

I have heard a few Audison guys mention they like short grounds, but that was never really an issue for most of my installs. I usually managed to keep them under 2ft anyway. I think the additional short rear ground is definitely worth a try. I will say, my Audison runs pretty warm, but not...
  19. Request - Disable / Reconfigure BMS

That amp is designed to operate as low as 11v, and shouldn't be popping fuses at anything over 12v. I don't feel like any charging system change or upgrade is going to solve this problem. Of course, I certainly could be wrong... If we are to assume all is well with the amplifier itself, then...
