So, if it gets there before I get there to pick it up, Joe, Gary, Mike, Sheila, Jack, and Jill get to test drive it?
Not if you have a reputable dealer. My dealer hung a sold tag in my Maverick between when it arrived on their lot and I picked it up.
It had 16 miles on it.
You're unnecessarily stressing over little things.
As another member pointed out Ford automatically posts the vehicle listing to the receiving dealership's website.
My dealer updated the listing to have an exorbitant list price to discourage inquiries.
Relax and enjoy the (relatively short) journey to Maverick ownership.

Big difference between a must and a want just to have. I haven't owned a single AWD car in my 25+years of driving. Survived plenty of snow storms etc. if I was in the market again AWD would be on my want just to have but not must list....
I've driven a RWD vehicle in stow storms and survived, doesn't mean it's the right vehicle for the job. AWD is a must for me and most reasonable Minnesotans, but it's really about the priorities. If safety is your main priority, then it's a must. If saving $2K is a priority, then it would become a "want to have".

don't get me started on 4k tow
Wasn't going to, but let me know if you want to talk about it. 🙂

I read in the manual that when you turn on the truck a message will pop up asking if you want to resume in the last drive mode, if you don’t select to resume it will default back to normal mode.
Kinda love it, but I still have to push a button? Come on Ford!

99% of the time anytime a refreshed model comes out, prior year takes a bit on resale. Nothing new.

Not everyone wants or needs AWD especially for 2.2k. i don't know how many 22-24 hybrids were sold but 200-300k ? They sold fine without AWD.

Cubby ? Yup, Ford probably lost 100k+ sales because of it.

Sync4 is a nice upgrade and let's hope Ford properly integrated the system with relevant hardware and didn't cheap out. Time will tell.

Battery saver is still a feature (check your window sticker). With AGM battery, should be better assuming there are no intermittent draws with the 25s as Ford is working on a fix for 22-24s.
Yup, no AWD for me and I live in Michigan with our winters. I understand the need for it for some people. I don't drive alot outside of my town during winter months. If you are on ice, AWD, in my opinion, won't help much, but deep snow and off roading, you betcha. But I don't do that. A good set of snow tires will go a long wsy. If I can't get out of my drive I don't leave the house. But I'm older now and I don't take risks like I used to.

I've never had an accident pushing buttons on my screen, nor dialing my radio with nobs (them were the good old days) neither. Just drive safe and if you feel unsafe doing something, then wait for a chance to pull over.

Makes a lots of difference when starting from full stop on icy roads (stop signs, traffic lights).
And going uphill on an icy road (based on personal experience).

One looks like traction control, the other is not labeled. 4:21 in this video

Glad I don't (I almost bought one, but decided that I'd wait for an AWD Hybrid). I am going to be rewarded for my patience very soon.
Exactly the same here. Hybrid was a must for me, AWD was a high priority for me AND the 4K tow package is critical for me. The fact that the front end no longer looks like a native with a bone through his nose is a bonus.

Mine is on order and scheduled to be built the week of January 6th.

LOL - Wasn't really a fan of the front end of the 2025 but not in love with the sorry front grill my 2022 Lariat came with either. Odd design weird different colored materials and it just looks flimsy.

Having the right tires really helps! Wife has AWD, when new had All-Season tires, not that good in Northern Michigan. She put on some Blizzaks and what a difference it made at stopping, and then starting from a dead stop.

I don't understand why Ford just can't program the software to stay in the last mode driven!
This has been beaten to death both here and elsewhere.

EPA.

The sticker is based upon how the thing starts up. Make that different, and you've lost your certification.

I just got off my dealers page and saw MY TRUCK, MY VIN#, for sale on their websight. I
As pointed out above, also beaten to death: ford feeds those sites data.

I'm going to go with "shift and brake" 🤪
