Gawd I hate those phony write ups from the car websites. Full of puffery and gushing over every car they review. First thing I tell anyone that starts talking about buying a car is to skip those sites and go to the forums of REAL car owners with unpolished and unbiased options about the vehicle.

I’ve seen these promoted car sites give rave reviews for total crap vehicles.

With that, I have a Maverick on order. I’ve never read the fake car sites about the Maverick. I do read this forum daily.

You mean even this total lie in the article?

It's not inexpensive, and let's be honest it does feel cheap.
In context to the truck market, starting in 2022, it is inexpensive, comparatively. And my Mav does not feel cheap at all, it actually feels better than the price point I bought it for. YMMV. 🤠

Sell your truck and find happiness. You seem miserable.

I don't have to be a fanboy having a love feast to use something. As I've said every time a fanboy says nonsense like this, it's not the perfect vehicle, nor the worst. It is what it is, and I'm okay with it, but I won't lie about it's strengths and weakness just to suck up to people like you.

This article is about the 2025 Maverick, not the 2022 model. In that context it is neither of those things.

I guess it’s all in the eye of the beholder. I feel like my 2024 Lariat Hybrid was definitely inexpensive compared to to every other truck on the market. Compared to a Nissan Kicks type vehicle, no it wasn’t inexpensive. But compared to that Nissan Kicks it sure feels luxurious and not cheap. Compared to an F150 King Ranch, well yes it feels cheap. I don’t think it’s perfect by any means, but I do believe in proper comparisons, it is inexpensive and does not feel cheap.

Yes, but the concept hasn't changed....it's been a C&D 10Best since 2023, and most likely would have been in '22 as well if they could have gotten one to test. So, the '25 model is just as inexpensive as the '22 model, when compared to the rest of the truck market, respectively. Look, you're entitled to your opinion, but the C&D article is more factual than your opinion.
