Vertical keyless entry pad?

Sweet SHO! Looks like a 1991? I wanted a first or second gen SHO since the very first time I read about them back in 1988 or 1989. I was middle school at the time. It never worked out unfortunately.

Could be 1989-1991. (Halfway?) through 1991 they introduced the "Plus" trim which was all body color (no black door handles, stripe on bumpers, etc...) and those particular wheels, which bled over to the gen2 body style. The plus also had a small spoiler on the trunk.

And my Plus (I bought in Germany in 2002) was that color!

The 1989 & 1990 models had the basket weave wheels. 1991 was the first year of those slicer wheels which were on all 1991 models and not just the Plus. However, it could of course be an 89 or 90 and the wheels were changed. That's why I didn't want to say definitively that that it was a 1991. And yes 1991 had the rare Plus option but I honestly cannot tell from that picture if that is a 1991 Plus.

The aftermarket stick on keypad is battery operated and only has horizontal numbers. When I had my XL I put it on vertical, but the numbers were sideways and didn't bother me. I recommend adding installation from the ford.com site when you buy the keypad. I bought the keypad and installation from ford.com and there was no additional installation/programming fees when I had it installed. Without it my dealer wanted $175 to install/program. If you local dealer has mobile repair, it can be done that way as I had the keypad installed and programmed right in my driveway. I am providing a picture of where I mounted it (there is also red letters added and red vinyl wrap I added) Hope this helps, I did use the keypad alot and really liked it.

Found out $180.00 Canadian and $80 to program at dealer!

Very simple, has a preprogrammed code, which you can change, Positioning the pad takes longer.

The wireless ones are just a 3M adhesive. My girlfriend put hers on the inside of her gas cap door on her Bronco.

that would work on the eco maverick but the hybrid has a locking gas door
