Could this be holding up the 25 builds, I wonder?

my '24 EcoB display gets glitchy now and then. can't trust it. any chance there will be no affordable fix and they'll just give us the new, bigger display? i won't miss the useless cubby. i can't imagine they'd re-tool and make the small unit again.

I think the hardware is not capable of processing image.
Fix will be hardware and software. Not sync3 upgrade but some processing unit at minimum.

lariat and XLT's use the same camera - so that one wont be the culprit unless they replace them with lower resolution ones so that the processing unit can handle the image.

Hmm, I just brought my '24 Maverick (Lariat) for service this past weekend. I inquired from the service person if there was any recalls, which he stated there was of no recall.

This recall does not include the Lariat, since it uses sync3. Just the XL and XLT.

I'm pretty sure it only effects the CTR software so the 2025 shouldn't because they will use sync4.

This recall does not include the Lariat, since it uses sync3. Just the XL and XLT.

I'm OK with a free Sync upgrade.... just sayin'

I've had my camera freeze, but I've also had the entire infotainment system freeze just without the camera active. I think that if not for the fact that it can happen while in reverse, Ford would not be looking into it.
Rebooting the system with power/FF buttons clears it up for a while.

25MY has different screen. Plus the 2025 are being held up for quality checks. It was planned to happen since August.

Seems Fords Connected Touch radio/infotainment System, is a few chips short of a full motherboard.
