According to the manual, fuse 11 is located in the "body control fuse panel". Unfortunately, the photo accompanying the text is absolutely no help in locating that panel. Can anyone here be more precise?
That's the passenger door that's open in image. So you are looking past seat into foot area under glove box.

The plastic panel is in the passenger side upper floor (top portion of where floor mats lays). There are three tabs, two on top on each side and one on the bottom in the center. Pull straight back to remove floor panel to access fuses. Fuse#11 & #12 are connected by one 5 amp fuse that has three prongs (not two as most fuses). Remove this fuse and tape it above somewhere so you can reuse if necessary in the future. Install your own provided 5 amp fuse in the right two prongs which is fuse#12. You can also disable telematics in forscan.

The photos make much more sense when a bit of written explanation is included. Thank you. Were they trying to save paper not to include that in the manual? Appreciate the detailed information . . . great helpl

I have a question. after pulling fuse number 11/12 am I replacing fuse position 12 with a mini 2 prong fuse or with a full size two prong fuse ?

You are replacing it with a 2-prong mini 5 amp fuse in #12 slot. Same size as what was taken out but instead of 3 prong, your using 2-prong fuse.

12 isn't used - so just leave it empty.

I understand what you're saying, but I also see two size fuses. What are the smaller ones called? 11/12 fuse looks huge compared to the other ones.

All I know is that the stupid fuse box has 3 different style fuses. Gone are the days of basic fuses. Now you got mini, macro, two prong, three prong.................king Kong...............uggh!

Ozarkbeard, you seem to be quite knowledge about Maverick's. I have a 2023 Maverick XL Hybrid with only 350 miles. I've already had three safety recalls done, another notice for rear camera freezing, and a future notice for the wiper motor. From the beginning of ownership, I couldn't keep my battery charged up with a trickle charger. I replaced the battery with a 760CCA AGM battery. The issue still ongoing until I pulled fuse #11, the telematic unit. Yet others commented the battery usage is negligible. Not enough to drain the battery. But yet when I pulled fuse #11 the battery drainage stopped; why? Furthermore, while my truck was in the garage, I now have an Alert on the instrument panel stating, 'Front Camera Fault Service Required' & 'Pre-Collision Assist Not Available'. The solution is reprogram the IPMA using Ford software (FDRS) and do a IPMA alignment procedure. Can I do this myself in Forscan? The second reason for the two alerts is due to a faulty camera module. Any guidance or recommendations? Ron
The NTSB fined Ford 165 million for faulty rear view cameras. It was for a specific time period, I think pre Maverick. If that's still a problem, file a complaint with them or Federal Trade Commission. Could result in a recall.

Ya makes the nice small little assortment box not so small anymore.
I guess that could help from losing it though.

You guys should pop off the underhood fuse box and see how tiny those are.
Looked smaller than the BCM box small ones.
