Rear Speakers

I have a B&O system and I have done the doors and tweeters. Now I'm looking for a rear speakers, any thoughts

They definitely helped my system, contrary to other posts suggesting otherwise. I just looked at other threads on the topic and made decisions from there.

So many great aftermarket 4" speakers available. I replaced mine with kicker 4 in two ways from crutchfield, I love crutchfield because they give you the Metro speaker wire adapter harness so you don't have to cut or splice your OEM wiring.

It allows you if you ever decide to sell or trade your truck to take out the aftermarket speakers and put the shitty OEM ones back in. Crutchfield offers many budget friendly speakers options as well as high-end options.

The OEM speakers have capacitors installed to block all low frequencies to them you'll only get high frequencies to the stock speakers, aftermarket is the only way to go if you enjoy listening to music.

I'm curious what aftermarket speakers you used in the doors and tweeters in your dash?

Toddman 45, I got them all from crutchfield. I have panasonic tweeters that I think were $49 and the doors are infinity co-x which I found after are no good. speakers should only be 1 way because the sound is divided before it gets to the speaker. Knowing that I didn't use the special wires they sent with them. The front sounds GREAT and now I want alittle sound behind me. Thanks

I had no idea Panasonic even made tweeters.

I use the Hertz k170 component set for the front door and dash tweeters. Then the kicker c4 two ways in the rear. I would have liked the kept it all hurts products but I didn't know until today that crutchfield carries 4-in hurts two ways I might see why they say the hurts won't fit the Maverick as the measurements seem to be pretty close for both 4" speakers. If it's something simple like modifying the tabs on the Hertz 4 in I don't have any issue doing that.

Anybody that tells you replacing the rear speakers won't make an improvement, either hasn't done it or has no idea what they're talking about cuz it makes a huge difference.

I see some people went into forscan and changed the rear speaker type, which also seemed to make more of a difference? Can't seem to find the post. Had something to do with giving it more full range. Different than the flat setting.

If you could describe the change, what would you say?

Flat eq sets them all full range? More balanced sound?

Better response at low frequencies especially if you add a subwoofer and tap the rear speakers for a signal, like I did.

I did also change the rear speakers in four scan via the ACM and easy mode from woofer only to woofer + Tweeter. I figure it can't hurt, it definitely doesn't sound bad.
